Online Learning

When you book a first aid course with one of our training partners, we offer multiple learning formats so you can choose what works best for you:

Full Day (Theory + Practical): Complete your pre-course learning online, then attend a face-to-face session covering both theory and practical assessments. (Note: CPR-only full courses may not require pre-course learning.)
Express Course – Face-to-Face Practical: Complete the pre-course learning and attend a shorter in-person practical session. Ideal for those who already have experience or previous training. Only practical assessment will be conducted.
Express Course – Zoom Practical: Same as the face-to-face express option, but the practical portion is delivered via Zoom. Group sizes are capped, and practical time is extended to meet assessment requirements.

Course duration depends on group size.

Pre-Course Learning: The pre-course component includes presentations and multiple-choice questions to prepare you for the course and assessment. You may complete this via:

Online modules (most preferred)
Hard-copy workbook (if arranged beforehand)
In-class delivery with the trainer (if pre-arranged)

Once you enrol, your login details for online learning will be emailed automatically.

For students who prefer not to complete online learning, alternative options include:

Hard-copy workbook instead of the online modules
Attending a two-day course that omits pre-course requirements

Cancellation & Refund Policy

All refund or transfer requests must be submitted in writing. Below are our policies:

Transfers: In certain circumstances, you may transfer your booking (to another person or date). Up to 3 transfers per booking may be allowed.
Refund processing: If approved, refunds will be deposited into the student’s nominated bank account within 14 days. An administrative fee may apply.
Request ≥ 24 hours before scheduled session: Full refund minus a $25 admin fee.
Request < 24 hours before session: No refund; you may rebook at a 20% discount.
Non-attendance or late arrival: No refund.
If LLN (Language, Literacy, Numeracy) issues prevent delivery of a suitable learning plan: Full refund (a $25 admin fee may still apply).
If Best First Aid is unable to deliver the course/session: Full refund.

If a refund request is denied, you may access our complaints & appeals process for further review.
